MILITARY CHAPLAINS generally hold the M.Div. degree and are endorsed by an approved agent.

HOSPITAL CHAPLAINS generally hold the M.Div. degree and have additional hospital training, such as Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). CPE can be obtained at many training centers across the nation. CPE programs in Memphis are the Veteran’s Hospital (Phone: 901.523.8990) and Methodist Healthcare System.
