Integrate your passion for helping people, your Christian beliefs, and professional therapeutic skills.

The Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Harding University Graduate School of Religion gives you the academic training you need to sit for the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or the Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) exams in the state of Tennessee and other states.

More than earning an academic degree, you study in the context of a theological school. Your professional studies are infused with a heart for ministry. You may counsel in a church context, or you may work in a secular agency. Either way, you are prepared to minister to the whole person through your counseling.

All classes are on the Memphis campus, each one meeting once per week for three hours. The courses often meet during weekday business hours. A 3.0 GPA in your undergraduate degree is required for regular admission.
