NOTE: Churches are welcome to submit ministry openings to Harding University Graduate School of Religion. This list, revised weekly, is posted on a bulletin board in the administration building on the HUGSR campus and also on the school's web page (www.hugsr.edu). Postings remain on the list for a three-month period. At the end of that time and if the position is still open, the church may resubmit for a second three-month posting. Christ on Campus is looking for a campus minister to lead our outreach to the students of the University of Oklahoma. The applicant must be motivated and capable of providing imagination and Godly vision for the ministry. It is vital that the minister be capable of developing student leaders to minister on campus. Our man should be willing to reach out to area churches for financial and physical support. The campus house has facilities for renters and it is desired that the minister be able to oversee and interact with the students. The East Main Church of Christ in Kalamazoo, Michigan is looking for a full time youth minister. This person will be under the oversight of the elders and working with a full time minister and a part time secretary. Responsibilities include working with teens 9-12 grades and junior high 6-8 grades with secondary emphasis on pre-teens 4-5 grades. It will also include working with families, teaching classes, counseling, mentoring, arranging fellowship/growth activities, as well as being involved with current programs. The Grand Central Church of Christ (Vienna, WV) is searching for an individual to serve as an Associate/Involvement Minister. Major responsibilities include aiding in ministries coordination, encouraging effective member involvement, and overseeing a growing small groups ministry. To accomplish this the person will need excellent relational skills and a willingness to initiate meaningful contact with others. The church is seeking an individual with recent experience and demonstrated abilities in these areas. In addition, experience and ability in any of the following areas is desirable but not a requirement for consideration: worship leading and/or planning, teaching, education ministry, and campus ministry. An understanding of the challenges and transitions experienced by a growing church would be a plus. This individual will be joining a team which includes eight shepherds, twenty deacons, two interns, two office assistants, a preaching/teaching minister, and a minister to families with children and youth. The church averages 350 in attendance and counts over 500 people in her extended church family. Pulpil Minister/Evangelist Storrs Road Church of Christ, a congregation of 50 in eastern Connecticut between the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University, seeks a minister to work with an established eldership to nurture a diverse congregation and to assist in evangelism of the local community.
